Modulated transformation 3

One landscape scene can be used to modulate another.  In the painting above the scene of the old barn at Lanyon acts as the carrier and has been modulated by the Wellington cityscape acting as the modulation signal.

Another variation of modulated transformation is shown in this painting above wherein the Free Church in Hampstead Garden Suburb in London has been modulated by hymn 132 of the Methodist Hymn Book, the duration and pitch of the notes being the modulating signal.
